As part of our Talent Inspiring Talent program, extraordinary high school musicians recommended by their teachers, can audition to be a part of this orchestra. The repetoire is advanced offering inspiration and a challenge to young musicians.
We will provide the opportunity to rehearse and perform with other extraordinary peers, and to gig with some top professional jazz artists. Tentative gig dates at The Heights are 4/10, 5/22 and 6/8
Accepted students will both play their instruments and receive individual / group instruction during rehearsals.
Rehearsals are 10-12 am at Wilton HS on 1/26, 2/9, 2/23, 3/9, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 5/11 (2-4pm), 5/18 and 6/1
First Applications due on 1/15.
Auditions / Placements will be held on 1/17.

An international recognized composer, arranger, conductor and trombonist of jazz and symphonic music. An awesome band leader who also toured or performed with Donna Summer, Blood Sweat and Tears, Shakira, Aretha Franklin and Al Jarreau and many more.
Award-winning and internationally acclaimed vibraphone player, ofter compared with Gary Burton and Dave Samuels, Arthur is also a concert pianist with exceptional teaching skills. Arthur has toured, performed in radio and television throughout 25 countries.

Then come to the audition / placement exercise, to be held as a Master Class, at Wilton High School (band room) at 7 pm on Jan. 17. There is no need to prepare any material up front.
